In Gokdere was held a gathering of volunteers of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan

In the children’s resting camp “Yashlyk” in Gokdere was held a gathering of volunteers and responsible employees of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST).

The participants of the forum are the representatives of the 19 volunteer centers from all regions of the country.

The event, which took place for 3 days, was aimed at encouraging and inspiring active volunteers.

Within the framework of the meeting, trainings on the tasks of volunteering, team building, leadership, event planning, human resources management, social work with the vulnerable population were held. Trainings and master-classes were held by volunteers-consultants who helped the specialists of the NRCST in organizing the event for free.

During the event, volunteers developed action plans for collecting of toys for vulnerable children; teaching first aid; and developing volunteerism. All participants of the gathering were receiving new knowledge and skills for personal and professional growth.

The tasks of the forum also included assessing the activities of the volunteers and the potential of each volunteer center.

At the end of the training program, all active NRCST volunteers were rewarded, who were presented with valuable gifts and certificates of participation in the trainings. Excursions to the picturesque places of Gokdere were also organized for them.

NRCST strives to increase the number of its volunteers. There are responsible employees in the central office and velayat branches of the NRCST who will be glad to everyone who does not always have the ideals of well and humanism, who would like to realize their volunteer potential.
