The online concert devoted to the 80th anniversary of famous Turkmen composer Chary Nurymov, was given in the Ashkhabad Mukam Palace.It was organised with the assistance of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (Türksoy).
The creative platform in a visual communication format united musicians from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Republic Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, the gathered honoured the memory of the outstanding Turkmen composer.
Chary Nurymov’s pieces of music have strongly entered into repertoire of the State Symphonic Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the baton of Rasul Klychev. In 1967 he showed public the first Turkmen ballet written by the national composer without the co-authorship, destruction of hot wind which premiere took place on the stage of opera and ballet theatre named after Mahtumkuli.
Later he wrote other immortal musical compositions, for today become by Turkmen classics, among them ballet Koytendag tragedy, products for the chamber orchestra Teke frescos and a series of “Gazelle” in the three-part form.
