III week of December: SCRMET Trade Transactions Exceed $18.1 Million

The total amount of transactions at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) for the last week exceeded $18,1 million, the press service of the SCRMET reported on Monday.

Business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene, base oil and diesel fuel produced by Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern for foreign currency.

For the domestic market, Turkmen business representatives purchased polypropylene produced by Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, fine-grained potassium chloride produced by Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, handmade carpets, bed linen sets, cotton yarn, crude fatty acids, cotton-delint waste worth more than 290 million 591 thousand manats.

Last week, the State Commodity Exchange and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 28 deals.
