How the sphere of culture of Turkmenistan developed in the past year? What tasks appeared outstanding Turkmen mass-media? What it is necessary to make in immediate prospects? All this and still many other things were discussed at the meeting which was held by president Berdimuhamedov on Sunday, February 7.
The state allocates considerable means for development of national culture, the president told. How they should be used well so that the sphere of culture and mass-media meet the modern requirements?
These issues were answered with minister of culture of Turkmenistan Shamyradov who reported about results of activity of its subordinate establishments, about introduction of digital systems and increase of professional level of workers of the sphere of culture.
As it appeared, not all are done as necessary President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov showed discontent with undertaken actions in the given directions.The head of the state specified in importance of maintenance of graduates of high schools work by speciality, necessity of revision of curricula of children’s art schools and schools of arts, low level of theatrical performances and direction.
Chairman of the State Committee for television, broadcasting and cinematography Ashyrov told about illumination of TV and radio channels of events occurring in the country, activization of international cooperation, online seminars with foreign colleagues and partners, studying of the international experience and preparation for celebrating of anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
President Berdimuhamedov noted importance of preparation of highly-skilled personnel and studying of world experience in sphere of TV and radio broadcasting, expansion of international contacts and introduction of digital technologies.
The Turkmen state publishing service in 2020 pursued the scheme for 1078, 9 per cent, its chairman A.Hudayberdiev told. For the past year more than 360 books were published and almost half from them are textbooks. The Internet site on which 19 newspapers and 7 magazines are accessible by electronic subscription was started.
The state news agency of Turkmenistan TDH conducts work on propagation of internal and foreign policy of president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, daily shines all basic events of life of the country, and, without being limited only to news messages, publishes survey materials and analytics, chairman of TDH Amansaryev told in the report.
The agency prepares news materials for Turkmen mass-media, both printing, and electronic, ensures functioning of two news Internet sites Turkmenistan today and Turkmenistan: the Golden Age in which in Turkmen, English and Russian languages news, photo and video topics are provided.
The actual direction of work of TDH, according to its head is cooperation with foreign news agencies and exchanges with them the information.
The head of the state noted importance of distribution of materials about political, economic and welfare development of Turkmenistan on the international channels.
The rector of Turkmen state institute of culture and rector of the State academy of fine art, who reported on results of work of high schools in the past year, Berdimuhamedov reminded of necessity of application of digital technologies for training of students, use of possibilities of libraries, theatres and museums, introduction of most demanded new specialities today and directions at institutes and universities.
Having heard the report of rector of Turkmen national conservatory named after Maya Kulieva, the president of Turkmenistan specified in importance of meetings of students with musicians and composers, online conferences with foreign professors and teachers.
Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mammedova, supervising the cultural sphere, reported on the work done for last year in subordinated structures and establishments, and deputy chairman Mushshikov reported on their financial and economic condition.
Finishing the meeting, Berdimuhamedov urged to make active works on restoration and protection of historical, cultural and architectural monuments even more to popularise national Turkmen culture, to develop library science, to expand cooperation with UNESCO.
The president of Turkmenistan told about importance of perfection of curricula and high school programs, interactions with leading world high schools, participations of students and teaching structure in the international competitions and reviews, development of new specialities claimed in the modern world.
And to deputy chairman of the Turkmen government Mushshikov was entrusted by the head of the state to study possibilities of improvement of financial maintenance of establishments and departments of the sphere of culture, to analyse their financial condition, to supervise allocation and target development of financial assets from the state budget.
