Not earlier, than three calendar days prior to entrance, they should take PCR tests and receive negative result.
After arrival within 72 hours they should take a new test already in Russia and be isolated before reception of its result.
Resident instruction in the Russian higher educational schools has been renewed on February 8, from November 13 to February 6 students studied remotely.
Earlier it was informed that because of the restrictions connected with the coronavirus pandemic, hundred thousands of foreign students cannot enter Russia to continue their study.
In the spring session higher educational schools passed into distance learning and many students left for their homes. At the end of summer it became clear that training in the Russian higher educational schools will be renewed after vacation, but because of the closed borders international students cannot study as full time students.
In 2019/20 educational year in Russia 297 993 foreign students studied. Among them most were citizens of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China, Tajikistan, Ukraine, India, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
At the beginning of December it was informed what only about 100 000 international students could return for study.
Now Russia has restored the airline service with 21 countries, including Turkey, Tanzania, Switzerland, UAE, the Maldives, Egypt, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Serbia, Cuba, Japan, the Seychelles, Ethiopia, Vietnam, India, Qatar, Finland, Greece and Singapore. With Great Britain the airline service was renewed in August, but in December borders were again closed because of UK coronavirus strain.
