High-level delegation from Pakistan arrives in Turkmenistan

A high-level Pakistani delegation led by Federal Minister of Industry and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain will visit Turkmenistan from June 24 to 26. This was reported by “Greater Asia” with reference to the Associated Press of Pakistan.

The purpose of the visit is to explore new opportunities for bilateral trade and investment.

On June 20, Minister R.T. Hussein met with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov, during which issues of organizing this visit were discussed. Ways to further expand bilateral trade and economic relations were also considered.

Tanvir Hussein noted that the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is a priority for Islamabad, and this visit will be an important step in strengthening Turkmen-Pakistani relations.

The Turkmen diplomat, for his part, proposed organizing a joint trade exhibition to promote mutual trade and investment, the source notes.
