On Tuesday, December 5, the final, sixth round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League will take place, in which the Turkmen “Ahal” and the Arab “Al-Ain” will play. The meeting will take place in Ashgabat, the game starts at 19:00.

According to the press service of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, on the eve of the meeting at the Ashgabat multifunctional stadium, the match participants will hold open training sessions and answer questions from journalists.

December 4, Monday:

• 17:00 press conference of Ahal head coach Serdar Geldiyev; • 17:15 Ahal training session, the first 15 minutes are open to media representatives. • 18:45 press conference of Al Ain head coach Hernan Crespo • 19:00 Al Ain open training session, first 15 minutes open to media.

Hernan Crespo is a former striker for the Argentina national team, the Italian Milan, Inter, Lazio and Parma, and the English Chelsea. The Argentine specialist, who previously coached the Qatari Al-Duhail, the Brazilian Sao Paulo, the Argentine Banfield and the Italian Modena, was appointed head coach of the Al Ain team from the UAE on November 8.

Previously, the UAE club won four out of five matches in the group stage of the AFC Champions League and secured first place in Quartet A, which also includes the Uzbek Pakhtakor and the Saudi Al Feiha.
