Hemsaýa Enterprise Launches Production of Dried Fruits

Hemsaýa Economic Society, owned by Miwe OJSC, has launched the new production line - dried fruits, as reported by the Rysgal newspaper on Monday.

Turkmenistan’s enterprise Hemsaýa presented its dried fruit products, made from ecologically clean and abundant harvest, at an exhibition dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), held on March 17-19 of the current year.

According to the newspaper, the company, located in the Kaka district of Ahal province, harvested bananas for the first time last autumn and introduced the fruit to consumers.

The Hemsaýa enterprise possesses vast expanses of land covering hundreds of hectares, which are managed by a group of skilled horticulturists. Alongside dozens of orchards growing dates, apples, peaches, blackberries, and pears, they also cultivate walnuts and almonds.

Hemsaýa ES plans to put into operation another greenhouse for banana cultivation on 10 hectares of land in the Kaka this year.
