Heads of the Chess Federations of Turkmenistan and Russia discuss bilateral cooperation

Head of the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan Vepa Myalikgulyev met in Moscow with President of the Russian Chess Federation Andrey Filatov and Executive Director of the Chess Federation Alexander Tkachev.

The parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the federations of the two countries, the official website of the Russian Chess Federation reports.

They discussed, in particular, the further promotion of the Belaya Ladya and Chess in Schools projects, which are being implemented by the FSR with the support of the Timchenko Foundation.

Vepa Myalikgulyev got acquainted with the exposition of the Chess Museum of the Chess Chess Federation with great interest. A tour for him was conducted by the curator of the museum, candidate of historical sciences Dmitry Oleynikov.

Recall that earlier the Chess Federation of Russia (RCF) moved to the Asian Chess Federation (ACF). The decision to move was unanimously adopted by the Supervisory Board of the Russian Chess Federation on April 14, 2022.
