More than 65,5 thousand bank customers use the “Mobile Bank” service in Turkmenistan. The leader in terms of the number of registered users of this service is “Halkbank”, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan reports on its official website.
The “Mobile Bank” service permits bank customers to manage their accounts, pay loans, top up their mobile and home phone accounts, pay for the Internet and IP-TV using a mobile application or website. This is convenient, saves time and makes banking operations more accessible for those who cannot visit a bank branch.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, as of July 1, 2023, “Halkbank” has 16 644 users of the “Mobile Bank” service. Most of “Halkbank's” clients are in Mary (8 227) and Lebap (6 274) velayats.
In second place is the SCBT “Turkmenistan” (14 966), in the third place - SCBT “Daihanbank” (13 272). Bank “Turkmenistan” is more focused on clients in Ashgabat (5 888) and Balkan velayat (3 205).
“Daihanbank”, like “Halkbank”, is focused on clients in the regions, especially in Mary (5 290) and Lebap (5 244) velayats.
“Halkbank” is actively developing its mobile platform and offers its customers various functions and opportunities.
Mobile banking “Halkbank” is available for download on Google Play and App Store. To register in a mobile bank, you must have a valid phone number and a “Halkbank” card. After registration, the client receives a login and password to enter the mobile application or the website www.halkbank.tm.
