The Cotton spinning factory in Halach etrap of Turkmenistan’s eastern velayat of Lebap has produced nearly five thousand tons of cotton yarn since the beginning of this year.
The factory’s products were sold in both domestic and foreign markets, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.
The cotton yarn of the factory is exported to Iran, Armenia, Poland, Russia and Turkey. Moreover, the mill’s production in 2021 was 1.5 times more than the established production plan.
The volume of sales revenue amounted to over 50 million manats. During the period, the plant produced 700 tons more products compared to the same period last year.
In general, Turkmenistan invested around $2 billion in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing textile factories. More than thirty investment projects have been implemented, which resulted in the commissioning of dozens of modern enterprises equipped with advanced machinery.
