The goalkeeper of the Turkmenistan national team Pirguly Gylychmuradov became the best player of the CAFA Futsal Cup-2023 match against the Iranian team.
The national team of Turkmenistan won with a score of 2:1 in the first round of the Central Asian Association Cup, which takes place in Dushanbe. In the second round of CAFA Futsal Cup-2023, the Turkmen team will face Tajikistan on July 24. The match will start at 20:00 Ashgabat time.
“I think we were very united today and that helped us achieve a positive result. I am very pleased with my game and the game of our team,” Pirguly Gylychmuradov, the goalkeeper of the national team of Turkmenistan and the Senagatbank futsal club, said in a post-match interview.
He also stressed that the national team of Turkmenistan will try to show good football in this tournament.
“Our main goal is to prepare for the 2024 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in October. But at this tournament we also want to perform at a high level,” said Gylychmuradov.
