The penultimate day of the “Silk Road” International Rally was the longest for the entire race of 2022 - the route of the special stage was laid from Volgograd to Lipetsk, and the total distance of the stage was 773 kilometers.

The ninth special stage ended with the victory of Russian Dmitry Voronov from the LADA Sport ROSNEFT team, with a lead of almost half an hour from Shamurad Gurbanov from Turkmenistan, who showed the second time. Merdan Toylyev became the third.

Shamurad Gurbanov won back one minute from Merdan Toylyv, and now they are separated by 7 minutes in the fight for victory in the T2 standings at the end of the whole race.

The final day of the rally-raid “Silk Road” will be held along the route “Lipetsk-Moscow”. The total length of the stage will be 513 kilometers, 118 of which will be a special section.

On the evening of July 16, the ceremonial finish of the 2022 “Silk Road” rally will be held at the “Luzhniki” Olympic Complex in Moscow.
