The proposal to create a new group of young horse breeders was put forward during a working trip to the city of Arkadag and a meeting with young fans of Ahal-Teke horses by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.
As the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan noted, it is gratifying that the younger generation is interested in the principles of national horse breeding, emphasizing that this group should be supported through the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
The proposal was met with enthusiasm.Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to the vice-president of the International Association of Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding, Batyr Rejepov, to attract children to the new group.
In addition, the head of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized that the necessary conditions should be created for weekly training of children involved in horse riding.In this regard, it was noted that the Foundation will provide consistent support for children to obtain professions related to horse breeding.
Continuing the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that many children participate in the drawing competition Biz, Arkadagly Serdarly Watanyň bagtyýar nesilleri, held with the support of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who depict magnificent Ahal-Teke horses in their works.
This testifies to the passion of the younger generation for horses.
The Vice-President of the International Association of Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding emphasized that Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s current visit to the Academy, as well as his valuable advice on horse management and horse racing, based on his own experience, raised the spirit of young people interested in horse riding.
