Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Presented New Book on National History of Turkmenistan

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, presented a new book titled Hakyda göwheri (True Pearl), which focuses on the history and culture of Turkmenistan.

The presentation took place during a working meeting that included the head of the Halk Maslahaty Apparatus, the vice-president of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Rejep Bazarov, and the president of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Allaberdi Ashyrov.

The publication appeared in the year that the International Organization of Turkic Culture declared the Year of the Great Poet Magtymguly Pyragy. The book includes materials on the impact of Magtymguly's works on universal values and the contribution of national culture to world civilization.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that he worked on the book during his work leave, reflecting and gathering materials about the glorious history of the country.

The meeting also addressed issues of modernizing national legislation, implementing advanced technologies, and reforming key sectors of the economy.

In his speech, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that science and intellectual property play a crucial role in the state's development. He instructed to intensify efforts to create a digital economy, modernize e-commerce, and introduce innovations to address social issues, such as providing the population with clean drinking water.

Allaberdi Ashyrov reported on scientific initiatives aimed at developing science and technology, as well as attracting youth to research. Meanwhile, Rejep Bazarov presented measures to improve the activities of high government bodies and strengthen interaction with the legislative system of the country.

The National Leader noted that 2024, declared the Year of Magtymguly Pyragy, will mark an important milestone for promoting national heritage. The city of Anev, which received the status of cultural capital of the Turkic world, symbolizes Turkmenistan's recognition on the international stage.

In concluding the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their work and wished them success in addressing the tasks at hand.
