Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas for further development of bilateral cooperation, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.

Expressing gratitude for the time taken, Overchuk conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

Conveying greetings and good wishes to the President and Chairman of the Government of Russia, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that the Turkmen-Russian cooperation is developing in a wide range of areas, regularly being filled with new content.

It was noted that there are prospects for a mutually beneficial partnership in the trade and economic sphere, the transport and communications sector and logistics, and in the agro-industrial complex. Along with this, in the light of modern realities, strengthening cooperation in the fields of water management and ecology seems relevant.
