1. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana. During the meeting, the parties noted the importance of further deepening bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Let us note that today Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Kazakhstan to participate in the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
2.The joint-stock commercial bank of Turkmenistan “Halkbank” has developed “Digital Card” software for mobile phones.With its help, the country will introduce a contactless payment service using NFC and QR code technologies.
The software was developed for the purpose of widespread implementation of the digital system in the economic sector, improving the quality and expanding the range of banking services through the use of modern innovative technologies.
3.In Bukhara, within the framework of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan, was held the opening of the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets and the Carpet Weaving Center - TURKMEN HALY.
At the opening ceremony, a symbolic ribbon was cut, and the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets and the Carpet Weaving Center began their work.The ceremony was attended by officials of Bukhara, members of the delegation of Turkmenistan, masters of carpet weaving and media workers.
4.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his compatriots on the inclusion of Ashgabat in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the “Design” category.Work on Ashgabat’s entry into the UNESCO Creative Cities Network began in 2021 and was carried out jointly with relevant structures, committees and international UNESCO experts.
Over the years, Ashgabat has been recognized by the world community as the most beautiful, technologically advanced city in the world.
5.Sowing of winter wheat has been successfully completed in Turkmenistan. 690 thousand hectares of land are sown with valuable crops.At present time, wheat fields in the velayats are maintained in accordance with agricultural technology standards.
Measures are also being taken to collect the grown cotton crop, harvest rice in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats and collect sugar beets in Mary velayat.
6.On November 9-10, the 16th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Turkmentel 2023” will be held in Ashgabat.Domestic and foreign scientists, experts, businessmen, and representatives of international organizations are expected to participate in upcoming events.
During the forum, issues related to the development of cooperation in such areas as digital transformation, cybersecurity, satellite communication technologies, as well as the state strategy in the field of digital development will be discussed.
7. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Uzbekistan to participate in the 16th Economic Cooperation Organization Summit in Tashkent on November 8-9.

8.In Russia, manufacturers of essential products are now required to pack them in packages of a volume approved by GOST and not change it.Now producers of butter and sunflower oil, vermicelli, sugar, salt, flour, rice, millet, black tea and other essential food products who want to declare their compliance with GOST must use fixed quantities of the said product.
9.The Turkish authorities have tightened the rules for renting out housing to tourists.Now landlords who want to rent out premises for a short period of time are required to obtain permission from the authorities.
According to the new decree, landlords who want to rent premises to tourists for 100 days or less must first obtain approval from the owners in the building, and then permission from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
All this must be done before concluding contracts with guests.Those who rent out housing without permission face an administrative fine of at least 100 thousand liras.

10.Ticket sales have started for the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League between the Turkmen “Ahal” and the Uzbek “Pakhtakor”.
The match will be in the capital of Turkmenistan at the “Ashgabat” multifunctional stadium on November 7 and will begin at 19:00 local time.You can purchase tickets at the Ashgabat stadium ticket office, as well as at sales points on the territory of the “Berkarar”, “Gulzemin” shopping and entertainment centers and the “15 Years of Independence” shopping center.
11.The “Arkadag” football club, representing the city of national importance of the same name, won all 22 official matches in which it took part this season.On Thursday, the team won a home victory over “Shagadam” from the city of Turkmenbashy within the framework of the 20th round of the Turkmenistan football championship.
The meeting was held at the “Nisa” stadium and ended in favor of the home team with a score of 3:2.
