Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, in a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin on Friday invited to pay an official visit to Turkmenistan at any time convenient for him.
Scholz accepted the invitation with gratitude, the official Turkmen media reports.
In a meeting, which took place within the framework of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s visit to Germany, the sides discussed cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres. Banking, chemical and textile industries, healthcare, transport, green technologies, water management, digitalization and consulting were also named among the promising vectors of interaction.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Friday also took part in a meeting of Central Asian Leaders with Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the meeting of Central Asian Leaders with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The Halk Maslakhaty Chairman also participated in a meeting of the heads of delegations of Central Asian countries and the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, and held bilateral talks with Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck.
