Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited to meeting of Council of Elders of OTS in Budapest

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received an invitation to take part in the 16th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which will be held in the near future in the capital of Hungary - Budapest.

During a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the OTS Binali Yildirim, the parties exchanged cordial greetings and noted that the fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye are filled with new content.

Yildirim conveyed an invitation to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to participate in the meeting as a member of the Council and an honorary guest, and also conveyed warm greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed gratitude for the invitation and conveyed best wishes to the President of Türkiye on his own behalf and on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. He emphasized that Türkiye is one of the closest friendly states for Turkmenistan, and that Turkmen-Turkish relations are developing at a high level.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty confirmed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at developing and strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye, as well as the OTS.At the end of the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Yildirim to take part in the festive events on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12.
