Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed prospects of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation with Erdogan

Prospects for the development of multifaceted interstate cooperation became the main topic of discussion during a telephone conversation held today between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced the “Watan” news program of Turkmen television.

The head of the highest representative body of people's power noted that the consistent strengthening of multifaceted and long-term strategic relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with Türkiye is among the invariable priorities of Turkmenistan's foreign policy.

In this regard, it was noted with satisfaction that, thanks to the joint efforts, the Turkmen-Turkish cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level in recent years and today it is rapidly developing in a wide range of areas.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan expressed deep gratitude to the Turkish leader for the sincere condolences expressed to him and his family members, words of support and sympathy in connection with the death of his mother, Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova.

Taking the opportunity, he also wholeheartedly congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the approaching Oraza Bayramy holiday and wished him good health and happiness, and peace and prosperity to the fraternal people of the Republic of Türkiye.
