Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev Discuss Joint Project Implementation

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a phone conversation on Monday with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. They discussed the progress of previously agreed upon initiatives and the implementation of upcoming joint projects.

According to official media in Turkmenistan, the leaders focused on key areas of cooperation, including trade and economic relations, fuel and energy sectors, transport and communication, and agricultural collaboration.

Both sides highlighted the positive development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations, with particular emphasis on successes in the cultural and humanitarian fields. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also expressed his gratitude for Uzbekistan’s participation in the international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy’s birth and congratulated Mirziyoyev on receiving Turkmenistan’s commemorative medal “Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna.”

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations based on good neighborliness and mutual trust.

At the conclusion of the conversation, both Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev exchanged wishes for good health and success in their state duties, as well as peace, prosperity, and well-being for the fraternal nations.
