The next graduation of cadets took place today at the higher educational institutions of the military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan, the information program Watan of the Turkmen television reported.
The events organized on this occasion traditionally began with the laying of flowers at the monuments to the teacher, the brave warrior Berdimuhamed Annaev and the honorary veteran of the internal affairs bodies Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov. Bright bouquets of flowers also lay at the foot of the majestic monuments of the Halk hakydasy (People's Memory) Memorial Complex.
The square in front of the Monument to the Constitution has become a place of honoring graduates of the Military Academy, the Military Institute named after the Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashy of the Ministry of Defense, the Border Institute, the Institute of National Security and the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as cadets of the Faculty of Military Medicine of the State Medical University named after Myrat Garryev.
With great attention, the participants listened to the congratulatory Address of the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov to graduates, officers and faculty of higher educational institutions of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country on the occasion of this solemn event.
Then the ceremony of presenting diplomas of higher professional education, badges and officer certificates took place.
Filled with a sense of pride for the Fatherland, the young officers, kneeling before the State Flag of Turkmenistan, took an oath as a sign of fidelity to the military oath, selfless devotion to the Motherland, people, the President of the country, readiness to continue the glorious military traditions of heroic ancestors with honor.
The solemnity of the current event was multiplied by demonstration performances of the soldiers of the Guard of Honor and the literary composition of the theater artists, who recreated the images of national heroes, who wrote bright pages in the history of the Turkmen people.
The parade march of the columns of the main participants in the celebration marked the end of one of the most important days in the life of every cadet soldier who decided to link his fate with the noble profession of defending the Fatherland.
On the same day, in the Balkan velayat, on the State Flag Square in the Avaza National Tourist Zone of the city of Turkmenbashy, a solemn honoring of graduates of the Naval Institute of the Ministry of Defense, who were awarded officer certificates, took place.
