The first batch of flat glass was sent to Ukraine by the flagship of the country's glass industry - the Turkmen ayna onumleri enterprise.Turkmen glassmakers are expanding the geography of export supplies.
Long-term trade relations have been established with consumers of products in neighboring countries - the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan.Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan.Over the nine months of this year, more than 700 thousand square meters of sheet glass have been shipped outside the country.
This is significantly more than in the entire last year. The capacities of the enterprise allow to annually produce one million square meters of sheet glass, 100 thousand - laminated glass, 400 thousand double-glazed windows and a wide range of glass containers - 15 types of various capacities for the food and medical industries.
Automated and robotic conveyor lines demonstrates the capabilities of high technologies incorporated during the construction of the industrial giant by HORN Glass Industries AG (Germany) and companies, suppliers of specialized equipment - Clastone (Finland), Buhler.
Zippe (Germany), Lises (Austria), Cnud (Belgium), Bottero (Italy). The full cycle of work of the innovative enterprise is ensured by a strict formulation and high quality of a charge from local raw materials in a compound shop, automated equipment for sheet and container glass sections, as well as a glass processing shop and a number of auxiliary sections.
The enterprise operates a real "mining and processing plant", where all components of the future glass are cleaned, crushed to a powder state, enriched, mixed and dosed.Glass cullet and waste, scrap are also introduced into the charge for recycling.
The plant has installed energy-efficient continuous regenerative furnaces for float technology, a recuperative furnace and glass-forming machines for it.Thanks to the use of such natural gas-fueled equipment and automated systems, an optimal production of molten glass is achieved.
To obtain sheet glass, a float process is used - this is when the molten glass flowing out of the furnace, where it melts at a temperature of more than 1500 degrees, spreads over a bath filled with molten tin, forming a transparent tape of uniform thickness with a high surface quality.
To obtain such a thermally polished glass, a whole chain of special mechanisms is provided. They control the amount of liquid glass on the surface of the bath, do not let the glass out of it, form smooth surfaces (top and bottom) and level out in thickness, protect against adhesion of tin dioxide, anneal the glass tape so that it does not burst, thin and stretch it to the desired size...
All parameters of the ongoing processes are displayed on the monitors of the control panel, where, using computer programs and optical systems, the processes occurring in the glass furnace and at the subsequent stages of forming a transparent sheet are regulated and monitored.
Technologists and operators work here. They remotely control the quality of the glass tape, which is formed and moves along a roller conveyor with a length of more than one hundred meters, obeying a given program, ensuring the rhythmic operation of automatic machines for cutting tape, robots involved in warehousing and packaging of products and other operations.
The plant launched lines for the production of single-chamber and double-chamber glass units used for glazing window frames and facades, a lamination process using polyvinyl butyl film to create safe display glass and other purposes.
The most robotic workshop at a glass plant is considered to be the glassware production workshop.A recuperative furnace and two glass-forming machines with production lines of different capacities are installed here.
This equipment made it possible to produce cans and bottles for drinks, as well as medical bottles and containers with a volume of 0.5 to 3 liters. The existing facilities of the enterprise are focused on the most promising areas in the field of architecture and construction, services to various sectors of the economy.
