GIZ provides support in the digitalization of customs procedures in Turkmenistan

Information technologies are being actively introduced in the field of international road transport in Turkmenistan. In this, the country cooperates with the International Road Transport Union (IRU). The IRU is supported in this regard by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

This is reported by Trend with reference to the words of the Director of the Department of International Road Transport (TIR) and IRU Transit Systems Tatiana Rey-Belle.

GIZ will continue to support the digitization of customs procedures in Turkmenistan, which will further facilitate trade, the IRU representative noted.
