Germany beat Scotland in Euro 2024 opening match

The German national team defeated the Scottish national team in the opening match of the 2024 European Championship. The match ended with a score of 5:1.

The goals for the German national team were scored by Florian Wirtz (10th minute), Jamal Musiala (19), Kai Havertz (45+1), Niklas Füllkrug (68) and Emre Can (90+3). In the 87th minute, Germany’s central defender Antonio Rudiger scored an own goal.

It Is worth noting that in the 45th minute, Scotland defender Ryan Porteous received a straight red card for a foul on midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
