On the instruction of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan took part in the high-level pledging event for the Central Emergency Response Fund.
Speaking during the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, emphasized that Turkmenistan and its leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, based on the principles of humanism, regularly provided assistance to the countries of the region and other states of the world to overcome the consequences of natural and technology-related emergencies.
In order to support the international community, our country made its first voluntary contribution amounted to USD 100,000.00 to the Central Emergency Response Fund at the beginning of 2020.
Continuing close cooperation with the UN and its specialized structures focused on providing humanitarian assistance to states and peoples of the world, Turkmenistan announced its next contribution to the Central Emergency Response Fund in 2021 in the amount of USD 100,000.00.
