Friday Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Urea B

Urea of grade B was in high demand at the exchange trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Friday, the press service of the SCRMET reports.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Russia and Türkiye purchased urea B, produced by the Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern. The total value of the transactions amounted to $6.3 million.

Turkish businesspeople also purchased cotton yarn for a total of $224.4 thousand.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs concluded contracts to purchase BND 60/90 type adhesive petrol bitumen and Turkmen hand carpets. The total value of the contracts exceeded $5.05 million.

Last week, the State Commodity Exchange and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered deals worth $18.1 million.
