1. Next week, the first snow of the coming calendar winter and temperatures below 0 degrees are expected in the capital of Turkmenistan. 3.For the second year in a row, Turkmen students have become winners of the Spelling Bee competition for Central Asian countries.The qualifying stages of the competition were held in each of the Central Asian countries.
The finalists of the qualifying rounds met at the regional competition in Dushanbe, where students from Turkmenistan repeated their success from last year, taking 1st and 2nd places in the competition.
4.Journalists from Turkmenistan take part in the V World Media Forum, which opened in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.The opening ceremony of the forum brought together representatives and leaders from the Government of the People's Republic of China, UN agencies and the media from more than 100 countries.
The speeches of the delegates noted the importance of developing relations between media, and also touched upon other significant issues.The special role of the media in promoting opportunities for personal development and strengthening trust in relationships for the sake of maintaining stability and security in the world was emphasized.
Work at the forum sites will last until December 8.
