According to the World Tourism Organization, 89.4 million tourists visited France in the first half of 2023. France has held the title of the most visited country in the world for 30 years. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to ATOR.
In second place in popularity was Spain, which was visited by 83.7 million tourists. In third place is the United States with 79.3 million tourists.
The top five also included China (65.7 million tourists) and Italy (64.5 million).
