Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Russia will hold talks in Moscow

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov will hold talks in Moscow on December 6, reports “RIA Novosti”, with reference to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

“On December 6, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks in Moscow with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, he is arriving in Russia to participate in the 12th meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Turkmen commission on economic cooperation”, Zakharova said at a briefing in Moscow.

According to her, the parties plan to discuss key topics of Turkmen-Russian cooperation, topical issues of the regional and international agenda, as well as the interaction of the two countries in multilateral formats, namely: the CIS, Central Asia plus Russia, the Caspian Five, the UN.
