Foreign Businesses Buy Turkmen Liquefied Gas, Gasoline

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $17.281 million.

For foreign currency, the UAE-based businesses purchased jet fuel and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), and Afghanistan-based business circles bought liquefied gas produced by the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern, the country’s official media reported on Sunday.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased the TCOR’s co-extruded polypropylene film for over 3.39 million manats.

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 7 transactions last week.
