For the first time, a textbook and notebooks for children with visual impairments were published in Turkmenistan

For the first time in Turkmenistan, a textbook was published and specialized notebooks were developed for boarding schools where children with visual impairments study.

The manual was developed by Turkmen specialists specifically for primary school teachers teaching blind and visually impaired children to read and write in Braille.

It contains Braille alphabets for Turkmen, Russian, English, Arabic and Turkish. The manual also includes three sections - mathematics, the Turkmen language, music and singing.

In addition, a Braille notebook was produced for visually impaired children. The back cover of the notebook is printed with the Turkmen alphabet and the designation of numbers, punctuation marks and basic mathematical functions in Braille. The notebook comes with a board and slate for writing in Braille.

The development of these manuals was carried out by leading specialists in the field of correctional pedagogy in Turkmenistan: K. Amanov, G. Muhamedov, A. Moytyyev, O. Bayova. The manual is recommended for use by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Braille (named after the creator Louis Braille) is a system of dotted characters (cells), which, through combinations and combinations, form letters of the alphabet and numbers. The visually impaired receive information from texts typed in Braille using tactile sensations.

The letter in this font is carried out with the help of a Braille device and a lead, as well as with the help of a Braille typewriter.
