Passengers flying from Turkmenistan to China will be required to provide a negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 when boarding the plane, according to a statement on the official website of “Turkmen airlines”.

From March 19, 2023, “Turkmenistan” Airlines resumes regular passenger transportation on the Ashgabat-Beijing-Ashgabat route.

For passengers planning a trip to China, it is necessary to have a negative PCR test for a period of not more than 48 hours and a protective mask, as well as a completed health declaration, which can be filled out through the website www.htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn or use the WeChat mobile application.

As a result of completing the health declaration, each passenger will be given a personal QR code, which will need to be provided before passing through passport control in the PRC.

Passengers without a certificate of a negative PCR test will not be able to board the flight.

Let us remind that flights from Ashgabat to Beijing will be operated by “Turkmen airlines” three times a week - on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

From March 28, 2023, the Chinese airline China Southern Airlines resumes flights between Urumqi and Ashgabat. Flights will operate once a week, on Tuesdays.
