Flowers were laid at the Magtymguly monument in Ankara

Today, in the Turkmenistan Park in Ankara, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the monument to the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports this.

The event, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan, was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Nadir Alpaslan, heads of various ministries and departments of Turkey, ambassadors of a number of countries accredited in the country, famous writers, public figures, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, the media and students.

The participants noted the humanistic message and the enormous contribution of Magtymguly Fragi’s creativity to enriching the treasury of world literature and understanding the values of the Turkmen people, the source notes.
