Florida students may be forced to study year round

A number of public schools in Florida are planning to transfer to year-round education, writes Local10.com. This is done so that students can catch up during the pandemic, as well as to reduce the crime rate, which increases every time with the onset of summer holidays.

The year-round program will be introduced in several schools in the state, if the innovation gives noticeable positive results, the experience will be applied to all other schools in the region.

After the end of the pilot project, the results of the experiment will be made public, the report will include information on the progress of students, the number of absences from classes, as well as the attitude of teachers and students to such a learning format.
