First specialized show of Chinese products opened in Ashgabat

Today Ashgabat has hosted the first Universal Exhibition of Goods of the People’s Republic of China, which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan jointly with the Ministry of Commerce, the Committee for Promotion of International Trade and the Government of Xinjiang -Uigur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China.

The specialized show was initiated by the heads of two states - President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and Chairman Xi Jinping, and is held as part of events marking the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and China.

For participation in the forum Ashgabat was visited by delegations of the heads and specialists of about seventy companies and firms, representing the industrial potential of various regions of China.

The long-standing partners of our country included the First Chinese Automobile Corporation (FAW), the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), which takes part in the implementation of the project for the industrial development of the giant gas field Galkynysh, the manufacturer of equipment for the oil and gas industry “Jeren” Company, the largest partner in the field of telecommunications and information technology “Huawei”, as well as TVEA Group Corporation (the world’s leader in the production of powerful electronic transformers for power supply systems, delivered in our country.

A majority of exhibitors for the first time represent their capabilities and advanced technologies in Turkmenistan.

In an exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, large multi-sector companies and enterprises of narrow specialization, as well as leading international trade exporting and importing agencies in China, exhibited their stands.

They included manufacturers of electrical equipment “Xinjiang Longbo Electrical & Mechanical Equipment”, and “Qinghai Dekun Electronic Technology Company” presented a line of new energy-saving lamps and lighting systems.The construction materials sector was represented by suppliers of aluminum profiles “Shandong Guangyao Super-Thin Glass” and “Zhangjiagang City Best Machinery”.

Proposals in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles for the needs of agriculture of the company, presented by “Xinjiang Tianshan Agricultural Yu Aviation Technology” caused interest, as well as a biotechnology developer in medicine “Wondfo Biotech”, which has more than a thousand kinds of rapid tests for the diagnosis of diseases.

Attracting was a stand of the “Shaoxing Taihe Aluminum-Plastic Packing” Company, specializing in the production of accessories for beverages, cosmetics and perfumes.The furniture industry was represented by the products of the profile Company “Zhejiang Tianyuan Furniture”.

An unusual design is notable for tableware and kitchen utensils at a stand of the Shopping Agency “Atushi City Boxin Commerce & Trading”.

Among the priority areas of Chinese exports are the high-quality industrial textiles and carpets. The variety of these products is represented by the companies “Xinjiang Fulizhenglun Spinning”, “Aketao County Pamier Cashmere Industry”, “Kizilsu Fuliming Clothing”, “Xinjiang Haerke Garment Co. Ltd”, “Bachu County Jinquan Runhe Carpet Manufacture”, “Xinjiang Kaili Carpet Textile” and “Qinghai Tibetan Sheep Group”.

A separate section of the exhibition was represented by the production of the food industry of China, produced on the basis of advanced scientific technologies and national cultural traditions of the Chinese people.

The exhibition will be open till July 6.
