Exports of Domestically Produced Carbon Black Increase

The Khazar Chemical Plant has boosted the production of high-quality carbon black almost twofold. Last year alone, the enterprise exported some 2,000 tons of the product. Among the consumers were companies from the USA, Russia, Scotland, Uzbekistan, and others.

K-354 carbon black, produced by the Plant on an industrial scale, is mainly used as a reinforcing filler in the production of rubber goods. Aside from that, it is used to slow down the aging process in plastics, to make plastics antistatic, electrically conductive and resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
