Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For May 9-14: $29.2 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $29.2 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased diesel fuel and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. Liquefied gas produced at the enterprise of the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern was also sold to companies from the UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

Additionally, the business circles from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan purchased plain-dyed terry products, and Portland cement for foreign currency.

For the domestic market, Turkmen businesses purchased petroleum coke, bitumen, base oil of Turkmenbashi refinery, technical sulfur of Türkmengaz, high-density polyethylene of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals), as well as hand-made carpets. The total amount of these transactions exceeded 182 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 48 transactions last week.
