Envoy of Republic of Cyprus accredited in Turkmenistan

Akja Nurberdiyeva, chairperson of the Turkmen Parliament, has received credentials from Leonidas Markides, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, the Turkmen government said in a message.

As the diplomat stressed, the Republic of Cyprus attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with Turkmenistan. During the conversation, the priorities of Turkmenistan’s foreign and domestic policy were considered.

Particular emphasis was placed on transformations in science, education, healthcare, culture and sports.
