Embassy of Turkmenistan in Korea held an official reception

Yesterday, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea organized an official reception in Seoul, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi.

Representatives of the government, the National Assembly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other ministries and government agencies, public organizations of the Republic of Korea, heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Seoul, Turkmen students studying at Korean universities, and representatives of the media were invited to the reception.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Tae-jin took part in the event as an honorary guest on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Korea, the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Seoul reports.

The guests were welcomed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea B.Durdyev, who in his speech noted the historic reforms carried out in Turkmenistan since independence, as well as the country's impressive successes in political, social, economic, humanitarian and other key areas.

The Ambassador also emphasized the enduring relevance of the literary heritage of Magtymguly Fragi.

Vice Minister Kim Tae-jin noted the strong and growing Turkmen-Korean relations, emphasizing the general principles of mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation that have contributed to the strengthening of ties between the two countries through the efforts of their leaders. He reaffirmed the promising potential for further cooperation between Turkmenistan and Korea.

An exhibition of Turkmen artists dedicated to the life and work of the Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi was organized within the framework of the event.
