Eleven universities in Turkmenistan are included in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Ranking 2024 with “reporter” status.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, this number included:
1.Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages; 2.Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan; 3.Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan; 4.
Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan; 5.International University for Humanities and Development; 6.Oguzhan University of Engineering and Technology; 7.Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi; 8.
State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan; 9.Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction; 10.Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management; 11.Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
Overall, the 2024 league table includes 1,127 Asian universities from more than 30 countries. The Asia University Ranking is compiled annually by international experts from the British organization THE based on 18 performance indicators reflecting the main objectives of universities, such as teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international perspectives.
