On 13 September the third stage of “Amul-Khazar” car rally was held. The length of the lap amounted to 236 kilometers where 46 vehicles competed.
Spanish athletes Nani Roma and Alex Haro, who lead in the intermediate and overall standings, were the first to cross the finish line.
Russia’s Airat Mardeyev in KAMAZ was the second to finish at this stage of the car rally whereas the Czeck racer Miroslav Zapletal and his navigator Marek Sikora finished third ranking second in the overall standing.
The state information agency TDH reports that the first stage of the car rally was completed at “Altyn Asyr” lake where racers had been greeted by Turkmen artists.
The fourth stage of the race will be held in Balkan velayat with the track length of 244 kilometers.
Let us recall that at the second stage of the car rally the Turkmen team was the third to cross the finish line.
Based on the results of the third stage the team of Turkmen racers Hojaguly Annamammedov and Gaigysyz Akmyradov dropped down to the sixth place.
