Due to the temporary closure of airports and restrictions on entry, Dubai will extend tourist visas for travelers staying in the city for a month without any government fees. This order was issued by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
“Government agencies will work to simplify procedures for tourists to ensure the safety of all visitors during their stay in the UAE. This decision will support tourists and their families who are planning to spend the New Year holidays in the Emirates,” reported local media.
Dubai is expected to host up to 200,000 travelers during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
