Turkmen mixed martial arts fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov will perform on the main card of the upcoming PFL tournament. His opponent in the light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) will be Cameroonian Simon Biyong.

Dovletjan Yagshimuradov

He started training in karate at the age of 6 and later switched to kickboxing.He began his professional MMA career in 2012.In 2018, he became the ACB (now ACA) light heavyweight champion.

After two successful title defenses, he moved to Bellator.There he lost the first two fights, but then won four victories in a row.In his last fight at the PFL tournament in April, he knocked out Jacob Nedo in the first round.

Simon Biyong

He has been performing in professional MMA since 2017. Made his Bellator debut in 2021 with a loss. Then he won two victories, but then lost two fights in a row. In his last fight in April, he lost to Antonio Carlos Junior by submission in the first round.

Fight forecast

Biyong is significantly superior to Yagshimuradov in height and arm span. However, the Cameroonian’s skills are inferior to those of the Turkmen fighter.

Yagshimuradov has an advantage both in stand-up and in wrestling. Even if Biyong can keep his distance for a while, it will only delay his defeat. Yagshimuradov, who is in good shape, will probably win an early victory.

The main card will start at 05:00. The fight between Yagshimuradov and Biyong is expected around 05:30.
