Radio “Azatlyk” reports that public sector employees are now required to present a three generation genealogy certificate (uch-arka maglumat) in an electronic format in an USB memory stick.
Public sector employees had been previously requested to present a genealogy certificate but before the start of digitalization the certificate could be filled out manually but from now on it needs to be submitted in electronic form on an USB flash drive.
It is not reported why it is impossible to send a file to a corporate email address.
The names, dates and places of birth, the information on the employer, a residence address and a criminal record need to be filled out in the form.

Many have difficulty with addresses of family members who died long ago.
They asked to specify what street in Gazandzhik my great-grandmother used to reside in 1800. This greatly amazed my acquaintance. His spouse advised him to write down “in yurt 25”, a radio correspondent ironically said.
All public sector employees, schoolchildren and kindergarten students had also been required to provide a three generation genealogy certificate. Thus, the authorities are trying to secure themselves from untrustworthy employees, while the special services seek to exercise control over relatives of individuals with a criminal record.
