1. Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Esen Aydogdyev visited the Center of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library, where the art and book exhibition “Reflection” is taking place. The exhibition is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the outstanding poet, thinker and classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi. Both professional artists and amateurs took part in the competition.
2.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Serdar Muhammetdurdyev and members of the delegation led by Special Envoy of the Chinese Foreign Ministry for Afghanistan Affairs Yue Xiaoyong.
The parties exchanged views on the preparations for the 5th meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring states, which will be held in Turkmenistan.
3.The Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum was held in the city of Turkmenabat at a high level.The forum was attended by heads of trade, financial structures, regional administrations and representatives of the private sector of the two countries.
As noted by speakers from the Turkmen side, the organization of such events, which have already become traditional, testifies to the inviolability of the bonds of friendship between the two countries and peoples.
4. The feature film Daragt by Turkmen director Sahysalyh Bayramov was included in the competition program of the XVII International Film Festival “Eurasia” in Almaty. The forum will also feature the Turkmen-Uzbek film “Magtymguly Fragi”, recognized as the best feature film of the IV International Film Festival Gorkut ata in Ashgabat.
5.Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin met with a delegation of doctors from the “RZD-Medicine” network of clinics who arrived in Ashgabat as part of the International Mission Good program.
This program is aimed at providing assistance and support to people and organizations around the world with the involvement of specialists from Russia in the format of volunteer missions.
During their visit to Ashgabat, Russian doctors held a meeting at the Ministry of Health of Turkmenistan, exchanged experiences with their Turkmen colleagues, and made presentations on their specialization.
6. Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov and Federal Minister of Oil of Pakistan Musadiq Malik discussed the implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, which is designed to meet the energy needs of the region. During the talks, the Turkmen side invited the Pakistani oil minister to visit Turkmenistan for further discussions on energy cooperation.

7.The Geological Survey of Hunan Province in central China has announced the discovery of a large gold deposit valued at more than 82,8 billion USD.During exploration, experts discovered a branched network of more than 40 gold-bearing veins located at a depth of more than two kilometers.
According to preliminary estimates, the total volume of gold deposits at a depth of up to three kilometers exceeds one thousand tons.
8. A new study by the World Health Organization reveals an alarming link between long-term noise exposure and serious health problems. According to the experts' findings, eight hours of exposure to background noise exceeding 85 decibels can trigger a range of dangerous pathologies. 9.The Football Federation of Turkmenistan has named “Ahal” football club striker Elman Tagayev the best player in the Premier League for October 2024.Last month, the forward scored four goals in three championship matches.
Tagayev scored twice in the game against “Altyn Asyr”, and also scored against Ashgabat and “Kopetdag”.The 26-year-old striker's effective performance helped “Ahal” strengthen its position in second place in the league table.
