1. The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the composition of the Joint Turkmen-German Working Group from the Turkmen side. The document was signed “in order to further enhance cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany”.

2.The President of Turkmenistan signed an order to send a Turkmen delegation to Washington to participate in the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, which will be held from October 22 to 26.

The delegation will also take part in a number of related events.The document was signed in light of the growing investment interest of major international monetary funds and investment companies in the development of the city of Arkadag.

3.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahalliyev and hyakims of the country's velayats.

The main attention was paid to the dynamics of work in the agricultural sector and the implementation of the National Rural Program.The head of state focused on the ongoing important agricultural campaign - cotton harvesting.

In this regard, the importance of taking targeted measures that will increase the pace of the “white harvest” was emphasized.Serdar Berdimuhamedov also focused on the ongoing sowing of wheat.

At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to make payments to service structures and enterprises for the work performed on the spot within the specified time frame.

Separate instructions concerned the systematic control over the rice harvest in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats and proper preparation for the sugar beet harvest in the Mary region.Speaking about the approaching winter period, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of heating systems in educational, cultural institutions, administrative, public buildings and residential buildings.

4.A Russian archaeological mission may appear in Turkmenistan, as well as in the CIS countries where excavations are being conducted.The proposal for such a mission was voiced by the chief researcher of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the Margiana archaeological expedition in the southeast of Turkmenistan Nadezhda Dubova.

The missions could include exhibition halls where the finds and excavation sites would be described, various premises for the work of archaeologists and their lives.They would contribute to a deeper acquaintance of the residents of the CIS countries with the work that is being carried out by Russians together with local colleagues, and would allow those interested to master or improve their qualifications in the field of archaeology.

5.During the visit of the rector of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas to the People's Republic of China, a number of meetings were held to expand cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in the field of education.

In particular, issues of opening the “Lu Ban Workshop” in Turkmenistan, the Turkmen-Chinese energy training center within the university structure, were discussed.

7.A research team from the Japanese universities of Tsukuba and Okayama has created a system for developing chicken embryos without using natural eggshells.Scientists have managed to overcome the key problem of previous experiments drying out of the embryo’s protective membrane.

The solution was found in using a special rotating shaker operating at a speed of 10 revolutions per minute.This approach permitted achieving the maximum percentage of successful hatching of healthy chickens.

8.Turkmenistan and the International Tennis Federation have reached an agreement to sign a plan for the development of tennis in the country until 2028.The corresponding document was agreed upon at a meeting between the Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov and the head of the ITF David Haggerty at the General Assembly in Hong Kong.

The agreement provides for the use of the Asian Region Training Center in Ashgabat to implement joint projects, including holding seminars for coaches and developing tennis for people with disabilities.

9. Turkmenistan national team midfielder Teymur Charyev won the 2024 Kyrgyzstan Super Cup as part of the “Abdysh-Ata” football club. His team defeated “Muras United”. The match was held in Bishkek and ended with a score of 1:0. Teymur Charyev entered the field from the first minutes and made a significant contribution to his team's victory.
