1.President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter to the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which he expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality extended to the Kazakh delegation during the official visit to Turkmenistan on October 10-11.

The President of Kazakhstan also confirmed his invitation to the President of Turkmenistan to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit at any convenient time.

2.The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia has donated anniversary copies of the collection of selected works by the outstanding poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi to the library collections of leading Russian scientific and educational institutions.

Collections in Turkmen, Russian and English have been added to the collections of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and other major libraries.

3. The closing ceremony of the II Theatre Festival of the International Organization of Turkic Culture member countries was held in Ashgabat. The festival participants were awarded diplomas, prizes and memorable gifts.

4.One of the festival events was the TURKSOY Biennale dedicated to the historical monuments of Anau.As part of it, an exhibition of works by artists from six countries - Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan - was held at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan.

Beforehand, all the artists visited the Magtymguly Cultural and Park Complex and the historical monuments of the city of Anau.For three days, the artists worked on their paintings at the Ashgabat Exhibition Center of Fine Arts using photographs and sketches taken in these places.

5.During excavations at the Gonur-Depe site, Russian and Turkmen archaeologists discovered a seal with an image of a month and a characteristic arrangement of three stars.

Presumably, the image on the seal is the oldest image of an astronomical object found on the territory of Turkmenistan.The Gonur-Depe site has been an object of research for over 50 years as a monument of the Bronze Age.

The country of Margush or Margiana, as this territory is known from ancient written sources.Among the important finds of the expedition in 2024 are the established production of gypsum and an animal skull similar to a horse's.

Before that, eight horse remains were found at Gonur-Depe, but only one horse skull.

6.Austrian pharmaceutical company DiproMed is actively developing partnership relations with Turkmenistan.The recent visit of the company's head Christian Eder to Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag marked an important stage in strengthening bilateral relations in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals.

During his fifth visit to Turkmenistan, Christian Eder held a number of meetings with high-ranking representatives of the country's government.The main topic of the talks was the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of production of medical equipment and pharmaceutical products. “This is my fifth visit to Turkmenistan, and each time I am impressed by the progress I see in the country”, - Eder said in an exclusive interview with Turkmenportal.

7.Petronas has become a gold partner of the 29th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2024”, which will be held from October 23 to 25 in Ashgabat.

The event is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengaz” and “Turkmennebit”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the State Corporation “Turkmengeologiya”.The conference will bring together more than 830 delegates from 51 countries, providing a platform for discussing key issues and development prospects of the oil and gas industry.

During the meeting, the activities of the Council, its initiatives and the participation of the Central Asian countries in international sports events were discussed.The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium emphasized that sports are an important priority for the country in both domestic and foreign policy.
