1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Helga Schmid.During the conversation, the parties confirmed their desire for active interaction in the interests of regional and global security.
Neutral Turkmenistan is committed to a close partnership with the OSCE in countering modern challenges.The energy sector is named as a promising area of cooperation.The feasibility of building up partnerships in the transport sector was also noted.
2. The Entrepreneurs Project Center began functioning under the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, aimed at supporting business initiatives in the country. The new Center will provide comprehensive services to entrepreneurs, legal entities and citizens. The project center will provide organizational, legal, financial, economic and environmental expertise of business projects.
3.The IV Open International Olympiad in Mathematics began its work at the International University of Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan.This large-scale event brought together talented students from more than 50 leading universities in the world, including educational institutions from Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Bulgaria, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
The Olympiad is held in two languages: Turkmen and English.During the five-day marathon, not only intellectual competitions are planned, but also various cultural events for foreign guests.
4.Turkmen students studying in Tatarstan took part in the fifth republican festival of the native language for schoolchildren.A master class on Turkmen national culture was held at the Shemordan Lyceum “Rost” in the Sabinsky municipal district of Tatarstan.
Turkmen students told schoolchildren about their native country, showed how to weave Turkmen national amulets against the evil eye “alaja”, and introduced the children to the sound of dutar.
5.Within the framework of the large-scale modernization of the national communication system, the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency and “Altyn Asyr” CJSC are carrying out planned work to provide the population of Turkmenistan with high-quality communication and Internet services.
