1.Political consultations were held in Budapest between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Hungary.The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov, and the Hungarian delegation by Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Adam Stifter.
During the consultations, a wide range of issues on further strengthening Turkmen-Hungarian relations were discussed.The parties exchanged views on key aspects of the international agenda.
2.On the occasion of Gurban bayram, the Turkmen State Circus has prepared a new show.The circus program will delight spectators every weekend until June 30.
In the arena there are clowns, skilled jugglers and gymnasts.Spectators were delighted by trained camels and acrobat monkeys riding a donkey.The performance of the national equestrian games group “Galkynysh” became the highlight of the show program.
3.A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Turkmen enterprise Nedir Gala and the Austrian company Spak GmbH.The document marked the beginning of cooperation in the production of ketchup and mayonnaise in Turkmenistan and the expansion of exports of these products to the countries of the European Union and Central Asia.
The memorandum was signed as part of the official visit of the Turkmen delegation to Vienna to participate in the 12th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Austrian Commission.
4. The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Nurlan Nogayev Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan. Nogayev will replace Askar Tazhibayev in this position, who has been the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan since 2022.
5.Turkmen specialists from the Open Joint Stock Company Derýaýollary have completed the construction of the hull of the second dredger.This is the second project of this kind, implemented by the company’s own resources.
The new dredger has a design capacity of 250 cubic meters of soil per hour, which significantly exceeds the capabilities of the previous model.Mastering the production of such machines will reduce dependence on imports and meet the needs of the country's water sector for cleaning and deepening the bottom of irrigation systems.
6.The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium Sapar Palvanov handed over a handmade carpet with the image of Magtymguly Fragi to the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Ian Saunderson.
The Turkmen carpet will complement the existing collection of cultural property of the museum at the headquarters of the World Customs Organization.Palvanov, noting that skilled Turkmen craftswomen created the carpet in four months, emphasized that the carpet is decorated with five authentic patterns symbolizing the regions of Turkmenistan.
Each has its own unique history and cultural significance.
7.In the “smart” city of Arkadag, the national holiday Gurban bayram was celebrated in a solemn atmosphere.During the day, traditional Turkmen dishes were prepared, people visited each other, wishing goodness and health.
